Gorden Doss grew up and worked in Malawi for 31 years. His sermon combines an account of medical mission work among lepers in Malawi and the Matthew 8 account of Christ healing the leper. Leprosy illustrates the extreme toxicity of sin and Christ’s healing the leper illustrates his power over human sinfulness.
