When Elijah's mantle falls, Elisha must decide whether he will simply admire the faith of the previous generation or step forward and receive God's calling for himself.  The God who empowered Elijah is still calling ordinary people today, asking each of us to trust His Spirit, take up the mantle of ministry, and answer His call with courageous faith.
