Community Prayer Requests

Community Services Ministries
As followers of Jesus, we are called to reach out to those in need and share the love of God with them. Our Outreach Ministry is dedicated to serving our community and beyond through acts of kindness, service projects, and evangelism. We partner with local organizations and churches to make a positive impact in our world.
Visiting Ministries
We value the wisdom and experience of our senior members at Downers Grove Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our Senior Ministry seeks to provide opportunities for fellowship, learning, and service for those in our church who are 55 and older. We believe that seniors have an important role to play in the life of our church and in the wider community.
Music Ministry
Music is an important part of our worship at Downers Grove Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Our Music Ministry is dedicated to using our talents to glorify God and inspire others. We offer a variety of musical styles and opportunities for involvement, including choir, praise team, and instrumental ensembles.
Women's Ministries
At Downers Grove Seventh-day Adventist Church, we believe that women have an important role to play in the church and in society. Our Women's Ministry is dedicated to empowering and equipping women to live out their faith in every aspect of their lives. Through Bible studies, fellowship, and service opportunities, we seek to deepen our relationships with God and with one another.
Media Team Ministry
Our aim is to help Worship Service and other events run smoothly by aiding with sound, images and/or videos/music tracks presented in house and on our streams. We work to seamlessly integrate these items with our camera angles to help the Worship Service be a blessing to all in attendance both in person and online.
We handle various aspects of audio including microphones, other audio equipment, etc; We also build the presentation using ProPresenter to include slides, videos, cues for parts of service, tracks to accompany special music, as well as incorporating presentations submitted to us by the speaker, etc; while controlling the camera angles and streaming thru Facebook Live and YouTube using vMix and it’s built in tools.
Our main goal is “if worshippers can get a blessing from the service while not realizing we’re here, we’re doing things right.”
