On Sabbath, August 16, 2008, the congregation at the Downers Grove Seventh-day Adventist Church welcomed their new pastor, Joe Arner, his wife Tammy, and their daughters, Joelle and Rachel.
Elder Ken Denslow, President of the Illinois Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, presided over the installation service. The ceremony and church service was followed by a fellowship dinner.
This special day for the church was enjoyed by members and guests alike.
