		<description>Dear Wilma,

I&#039;m so sorry that it took so long for somebody to get back to you about our Adventurer and Pathfinder Clubs. Thankfully someone just emailed your question to me just a few minutes ago.

First, your children from your church are definitely welcome to attend our Adventurer and Pathfinder clubs. We have kids from several other SDA churches that come to our meetings and you do NOT have to be members at DGSDA in order to join in the fun with us!

Our Adventurer Club
Our Adventurer Club has about 18 kids, from ages 3 to 10. It is the umbrella organization for the Little Lambs Club (ages 3-4 yrs although we have 2 yr. old siblings also participating), our Eager Beaver Club (Age 5 or Kindergarten), and our Adventurer Classes (First Grade - 4th Grade, or age 10). Our parents also attend with their Adventurer children and are essential to our program. The objectives of our program are to show God&#039;s Love for each child, to provide parents with support through the tantrums and homework issues, and to provide a way for families to enjoy time together.

We try to meet every 1st Sabbath &amp; Sunday of every month and every 3rd SAbbath &amp; Sunday of every month. These times are extremely flexible and are often adjusted because of busy school/church/family schedules. During these meetings we have a variety of activities that help children to explore their world, their family, and their God. Some of our meetings are used to work through the NAD Curriculums and awards and we go on field trips for others. In January we toured the DG Fire Station and this last Sunday we watched maple syrup and baby lambs at Kline Creek Farm.

Our church also has a Pathfinder Club for kids who are 10 - 18 years of age and they have about 15 members and 4 adult leaders. Our Pathfinder club also is an active club that participates in conference and union campouts, works on individual honors and bookwork, and provides a great social resource for our church teens. They attended last years International Camporee, two weekends ago they enjoyed their own Church Lock-In weekend, and our club is also this year&#039;s Illinois&#039; top Bible Achievement Team and will competing at the Union level at Andrews University in April.

We are fortunate to have very diverse backgrounds in our club. Our Adventurer Club worked on the Country Fun honor several weeks ago, and our students taught each other to count in Chinese, Portuguese, Castillian, Russian, Slovak, English, and Spanish. I know that you children would have a great time with our kids.

Each year there is a $40 registration fee to join, but as Adventurer Leader I would probably ask only for $10 to cover the award patches for the rest of this year.

If you wish to speak further with me, you can email me at debnavarro@mac.com and I will give you my phone numbers.

Sincerely,

<description>HI I wanted to know more about the adventurer club, I am from the Brazilian Church and received a brochure about it but it doesn&#039;t have a contact information.
I have a few question like how often are the meetings, what time and days do you get together, do we need to pay or be a member from your church.
Our church has 7 kids and 3 teenagers.
do you have something for teenagers too?
Can&#039;t wait to hear from you.
Thank you
God bless
