The Downers Grove SDA Church is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary!
The first church service was held on February 10, 1968. A few of those original 325 attendees are still attending the church today. It was on November 6. 1971 that the church was dedicated debt free. It was near this date in November that the church birthday came to be annually celebrated. Now that the 40th anniversary is here, the Church Board has voted that a special celebration be planned for November 8, 2008.
It’s our hopes that you will accept our invitation and come with your families and friends to join in the celebration.
This Reunion will be a time to thank God for His continued presence in the work of the Downers Grove Adventist Church. Most of all it will be a time to reconnect with old friends and remember all the good times.
