Don’t miss the Agape Feast and Candle Light Communion Service this Friday evening, April 23, at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Downers Grove Adventist Church.
Galilee produces grapes, raisins, pomegranates, dates, figs, beans, and leeks. These were often part of the agape feast. In our case you may just wish to bring fruits, breads, pita, hummus, etc.
Agape feasts, also called “Love Feast”, includes feet washing, a supper meal, and communion, with hymns and brief scriptural meditations interspersed throughout the worship service.  Please come and invite your family and friends to join us around the cross for this inspiring reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice for us as we recommit our lives to Him.
